He completed his studies at the Hungarian State Ballet Academy, specializing in folk dance in 1983. He were then offered contracts by Hungary’s largest professional folk-dance ensemble, Honved Együttes. In the ensemble, in addition to authentic folk-dance items he have also performed dramatic dances. Tibor have danced in a number of principal roles during the years and have also been nominated as soloists. He have performed in all the major theatres in Europe and also in Mexico and China. He completed his training as dance teachers in 1992 at the Hungarian State Ballet Academy, as a folk-dance master. During 1993 he worked in Latin America (Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil) teaching Hungarian folk-dance and have returned on a number of subsequent occasions. He have also taught for the folklore group HET in Holland and worked with groups of amateurs to create a number of choreographies. Tibor is working for Honved Dance Company as the leader of the troupe of dancers. |
